Today (6 May 2025), Pol. Lt. Col. Woranan Srilam, Director of the Consumer Protection Division and Spokesperson of the Department of Special Investigation, revealed the case in which Mr. Narong Thepsena, Governor of Amnat Charoen Province, sent an urgent confidential letter to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior stating that there was a group of people claiming to be officers of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) who went to Amnat Charoen Province and acted in a manner that forced two former candidates to be elected as Senators, who confessed that they were guilty of collusion in the selection of Senators.
